Nestled on 6 hectares of unspoilt nature, on the edge of the La Cure river and on the edge of the Morvan forest, The Moulin de Crottefou offers a rare setting where tranquillity, greenery and authenticity come together. Here, only the murmur of water and the breath of the forest can be heard.
On the property, enjoy a large landscaped garden, a large flowered terrace with a summer lounge and large teak table for al fresco dining. A pétanque and Mölki court, as well as a games room in the barn (table tennis, table football) will delight young and old alike.
The river “La Cure”, which turns the mill wheel and produces electricity for the site, is ideal for swimming (at your own risk), fishing or simply contemplating.

A comfortable holiday cottage for 15 people in Marigny-l'Église
The interior of the Moulin de Crottefou combines old-world charm with modern comforts, ensuring a cosy stay in all seasons. Classified as a 3-star furnished tourist accommodation (March 2025), the cottage can accommodate up to 15 people, with the option of adding a bonus dormitory with 7 additional beds. The main house comprises five comfortable bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large, cosy living room with a fireplace insert, a spacious dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Everything has been designed for socialising: a comic book library, DVD collection, large-screen TV, fibre optic Wi-Fi, and numerous board games.
A small cave chapel, nestled in the vaulted cellars, invites meditation and prayer.
The beds are made upon arrival, linen is provided, and laundry is entrusted to the ESAT de l'Avallonais, as part of a community initiative.
